Welcome to the UK Region of the Early Ford V8 Club of America, a classic car club dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of Ford Motor Company vehicles manufactured between 1932 and 1953, with particular emphasis on those powered by the legendary Ford V8 sidevalve (Flathead) engine.
Whether your interest lies in British, European or American-built Ford V8s, our club brings together enthusiasts who share a passion for these iconic vehicles and their engineering heritage.
About the Early Ford V8 Club of America
The Early Ford V8 Club of America was founded in 1963 in San Leandro, California, with a clear and enduring purpose:
to support the restoration and accurate preservation of Ford Flathead V8 cars and commercial vehicles produced between 1932 and 1953.
Today, the club is a truly international organisation, with nearly 150 regional groups worldwide and over 9,000 members globally.
The Early Ford V8 Club UK (England Regional Group 127)
In the UK, we are known as the England Regional Group, also referred to as Early Ford V8 Club UK – Region 127, founded in 1988.
Our UK membership now stands at almost 150 members, reflecting a growing and active community of Early Ford V8 enthusiasts.
We maintain strong international links and exchange newsletters with fellow regional groups across North America, the Nordics, Australia and New Zealand.
Who Can Join?
Membership of the Early Ford V8 Club UK is made up of:
Long-time Early Ford V8 owners and restorers
New owners at the beginning of their V8 journey
Enthusiasts and historians who may not yet own an Early Ford V8 but are keen to learn more about the cars, engines and period history
Ownership of a vehicle is not required — a genuine interest in Early Ford V8s is all that’s needed.

Club Organisation
The Early Ford V8 Club UK is run by an annually elected committee, with policy and direction agreed by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
A full programme of events, shows and meetings is organised each year to reflect members’ interests and the wider historic vehicle calendar.
